At Chaucer Infant and Nursery School, we recognise the importance of a strong partnership with parents and carers. Our pupil’s education begins at home and it is here that positive attitudes to learning and aspirations will be forged. Your encouragement and support will produce benefits that last throughout your child's life.
We believe that education requires the support of parents, carers, children and staff to be effective and we aim to provide a purposeful relationship between school and home. We respect and value parents and carers as partners and strive to build strong links that are based on warmth and mutual respect.
As part of this partnership we feel it is important to seek your views and opinions. Every year during the March parent's evening we ask you to complete a parental questionnaire and we share the results of it with you. In July, as part of our School Improvement INSET day, we discuss all your comments and ideas for making the school even better and in the Autumn term we will write and inform you about how we plan to address the issues raised.
