Update - Relationships and Health Education (RHE)
We have been reviewing our RHE curriculum and policy so we can be sure our provision is appropriate for our pupils based on their: Age, physical and emotional maturity, religious and cultural backgrounds, special educational needs and disabilities.
As part of this process, the school consulted with parents, staff, governors and pupils to help inform our schools' decisions on the context and content to be covered. The responses from parents and responses from Chaucer Infants and Nursery School to the Parental Questionnaire can be read below.
Thank you for taking time to participate in this consultation. It has enabled us to consider, discuss and make adjustments to our policy and curriculum based on this feedback.

We are continuing to monitor the situation around Coronavirus and consider the latest guidance from Public Health England which is laid out below:
‘You are now asked to stay at home for 14 days from the start of the following new symptoms: a new, persistent cough and/or high temperature.’
With this in mind, can you please adhere to the above and if your child is fit and well, we do expect them to attend school each day.
We will continue to reinforce with the children the importance of regularly washing hands and ask you to do the same.
We will continue to operate in line with Government recommendations and keep you informed of any developments via Parent Hub and our school website
