The whole school has been writing and learning about our environment. The Bog Baby story was a starter for the topic and the children in school went up to an area near school to look at a pond and the surrounding area. They have looked at plants and growth around a pond and what animals may live in or around the area. The children have learnt lots of new vocabulary and have used that vocabulary to write about the Bog Baby. They then moved on to a different habitat, hedgerows.They looked at  animals, plants etc that grow and are around a hedgerow. The children have made lots of art work to go with the work and have enjoyed learning about it. After half term there will be a new topic.
